Sitting by the Magma~

Cassie sat by the volcano and dipped her feel in the magma. Her feet felt all warm and tingly now that they were all hot. She loved coming up here ever since she figured out she had the affinity for fire. She hardly gets the chance to come up here though because the gaurds would come and get her. Then she would be grounded by her father and stuck in her room with gaurds outside her room and the window. Cassie smiled at the memory and started to sing.

Shumi had been sent to find Cassie...again. She crouched low behind a rock as she caught Cassie's scent on a passing breeze. She swivled her ears until she could pinpoint the gentle singing. Once she was sure of her location, Shumi stood and cleared her throat. "Cassandra, your father sent me. You have to come home." she said firmly.

Cassie stopped singing and sighed. "But Shumi... Cant we stay here for a little longer?" Cassie begged and then she started singing again, "'Cause your everywhere to me and when i close my eyes its you i see, Your everything i know that make me believe. Your not alone." Cassie sung gently as the cool breeze hit her face, totally forgetting that Shumi was behind her.

Shumi liked Cassie's singing, but she couldn't admit it. She had to bring Cassie back to Lord Loss. Sighing, she placed a hand on Cassie's shoulder and said "No, we can't stay here any longer. Do you WANT me to get killed? You know your father will kill me if I disobey him. So come on." She gave a gentle tug.

Cassie sighed and got up. "Why cant i have a life...?" She sighed and sprinted back to the palace. She made sure to keep her distance between herself and Shumi and whenever Shumi caught up a tiny bit she would run faster to keep her distance.

Shumi ran after Cassie, trying to keep up, and tripped a bunch of times on the way. Finally she gave up and slowed down, panting. She howled loudly to alert the other guards where Cassie was headed, and then sat down on a rock to catch her breath. Why did she have to be blind?!

Cassie smirked when she saw that Shumi was far behind her. Nows my chance to make a run for it Cassie thought but then she saw two gaurds coming by her and sighed, knowing that she couldn't out run both of them. She sighed and said, "Hi guys... Time to take me back to hell im assuming?"
